We've invested significantly to implement a mature information security management system. We successfully achieved ISO27001 certification in November 2019 and were recertified in November 2021.

This is a great achievement for LanternPay. And in an era of enormous focus on cybersecurity, data privacy and IT governance, we're very proud that we've taken this extra step to maintain the upmost security of our customers, partners and communities.

What is ISO 27001?

ISO27001 is an international standard for information security management. Essentially a compilation of best practice for information security, it provides a framework to effectively manage security risks and implement appropriate technical and procedural controls.

What does it mean for LanternPay and our customers?

ISO27001 ensures we take an information security-minded approach to business operations, helping us identify and reduce risks to important information by putting in place the appropriate controls.

Certification means we have robust systems, technical controls, procedures and monitoring in place to protect the data that we process and store, so our customers and partners can have a very high degree of confidence in the security of our technical services and how we handle their data.
